In October, CSG Justice Center staff along with expert consultant (1) continued to further develop the draft of the Risk Assessment Guidelines document, (2) reviewed notes and feedback from meeting with advocates and people with lived experience, (3) shared survey and reviewed results from the advisory group and are working to incorporate any necessary edits into the guidelines document, and (4) began drafting other deliverables proposed for this project.

In August, CSG Justice Center staff, along with expert consultant, continued to work on the draft of the Risk Assessment Guidelines document, which included multiple project team meetings and various iterations of the draft of the guidelines document.

Previously, the project team and consultant had developed the first draft of the guidelines and shared it with the advisory group to request feedback. During the first half of August, the project team and consultant reviewed incoming feedback from the advisory group members and incorporated it into the draft document.

In July, CSG Justice Center staff along with an expert consultant (1) met to review the current content from the working group conversations and the surveys to begin drafting the guidelines, (2) sent invitations to additional candidates for the advisory group, (3) determined the structure of and hosted the third working group meeting, and (4) held further discussions regarding next steps for the working group and project team action items.

Monthly Status:
In June, CSG Justice Center staff, along with an expert consultant, debriefed on the second working group meeting, which led to the development of a second survey and further discussions regarding next steps of the working group and project team action items. During this time, the project team also worked to find additional experts in the field to invite to become a part of the advisory group.

Monthly Status:
In April, CSG Justice Center staff along with an expert consultant, and other key working group participants, discussed initial thoughts following the first working group meeting and planned how to best structure future working group meetings.
