"To offer training and support to these grantees on a national level, BJA, with the support of its technical assistance provider The Council of State Governments Justice Center (CSGJC), convened a National Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry Program Symposium on September 13th and 14th, 2023.
NCJA is supporting the Center for Justice Innovation with a pilot program evaluation program with the Lincoln Police Department to evaluate a new position added to patrol, a team investigator. This position was added by the Chief approximately 6 months ago. As a first step, NCJA and CJI assisted the Lincoln Police Department with a survey that was sent out to patrol officers, analyzing the overall perception of the team investigator role.

The Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council (CICC), a group under the Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global), supports the development and promotion of resources for local, state, tribal, and territorial law enforcement and homeland security agencies in their efforts to gather and share criminal intelligence to better serve and protect communities nationwide.
The Rhode Island Public Safety Grant Administration Office has reached out for assistance with the development, distribution, and analysis of a survey. The survey aims to gather information on the comprehensive needs of the state's criminal justice system. Rhode Island plans to distribute this statewide survey to gain a better understanding of the crime trends in their communities. What makes this survey unique is that it includes community members and those with lived experience, such as survivors and justice-impacted individuals.

NCJA is supporting the Center for Justice Innovation with a pilot program evaluation program with the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. CJI will be designing an evaluation plan to study the Restructuring Area Dynamic and Relationships (RADAR) program currently being implemented by the Phoenix Police Department.
The 2023 delivery of PREA 101 was a unique and exclusive opportunity provided by the National PREA Resource Center, in partnership with the PREA Management Office at the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) in the U.S. Department of Justice.
This reporting period, LISC created a TTA request portal that will collect CVI requests from the field. The landing page for this will eventually be the CVIPI National Resource and Field Support Center website, but until that is active, LISC is providing the link and QR codes during presentations and engagements with the field. This reporting period, LISC responded to 14 TTA requests providing the following TTA supports: virtual consultations, resource dissemination in support of CVI needs, facilitated peer-to-peer exchanges and provided delivery of general training.
• Heather Perez became the PSN TTA Project Director on July 1. All directly related responsibilities and activities should be captured by CNA in their semi-annual reporting.
• Worked with SME Didi Nelson to develop a “New to PSN” resource. CNA will add branding once approved by BJA.
• Worked with SME Didi Nelson to revise the Research Partner Frequently Asked Questions. CNA will add branding once approved by BJA.
• Worked with SME Didi Nelson to revise the Violence Reduction Assessment Tool. MSU is looking for a new platform for the tool.
