A review of all existing program documents will transpire to include VTC procedure manuals, participant handbook, mentor manual, BeST Assessment (as applicable), Hopes and Concerns assessment tool, and relevant past/present grant information. A discussion of all documentation with the designated Justice for Vets (JFV) staff member (JFV Leader) in advance of formal involvement with the VTC team members will occur.

In this second virtual convening for the YR Track of SCA grantees, CCETAC coaches brought together track grantees and experts for an interactive virtual convening to share best practices, discuss topics of interest, share experiences and lessons learned, and build community. Participants heard from presenters on best practices for how to create comprehensive youth reentry planning and case management.

The SPD is seeking vendor assistance to modernizing internal and external Tableau Dashboards. In addition to overhauling the look and feel of these tools to promote engagement, the SPD has recently acquired two new Tableau Servers (internal and external) with additional computing capacity to accommodate advanced functionality such as integration with Python and R. The full resources of the SPD Performance Analytics & Research (PA&R) team and infrastructure would support this engagement.

PRC staff observed a certified PREA auditor conduct a compliance audit of the Nebraska Department of Correctional services reception and treatment center which is a facility located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The purpose of the audit observation project was to learn how certified auditors are implementing the PREA Auditor Handbook required audit methodology in practice and provide LEP individuals with PREA education information and training on how to report.
