The SLATT monthly partner meeting was held on May 2, 2024. SLATT partner meetings are convened to discuss current initiatives and progress toward completing SLATT tasks.

During the month of May 2024, 93 new SLATT user accounts were created. Of the new accounts, 41 were approved as SLATT direct accounts, 41 were created via Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) program credentials, and 11 were created via Federal Bureau of Investigation, Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal, program credentials.

The SLATT team addressed approximately 33 inquiries received from users submitting questions or requests using the “Contact Us” button on the slatt.org website. Inquiries related to SLATT training, resources, webinars, publications, login issues, website access, and general questions.

On May 21, 2024, the Bureau of Justice Assistance senior policy advisor, a SLATT team member, and a SME from the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), completed a PREPARE training delivery to attendees at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP ) Technology Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

On April 18, 2024, members of the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) team provided an in-person Detect & Interdict: Specialized Roles in Uncovering and Preventing Terrorism (DISRUPT) training delivery to members of the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department, Special Events Team (SET). The SLATT training was requested in preparation for the upcoming Republican National Convention, which will be hosted in Milwaukee on July 15–18, 2024.
