The Law Enforcement/First Responder Diversion and Referral Mentoring Initiative provides communities interested in starting diversion or referral programs the opportunity to learn from established or innovative programs that have shown success in meeting the treatment needs of individuals with a substance use disorder, and in some cases an overdose. Seven sites have been chosen to act as mentors for newer programs that are trying to establish a first responder diversion program.

Talked with Brian about the status of the mentoring initiative. Buy-in from LE has stalled his participating in mentoring. Discussed resources that can help him in the meantime.

After outreach for FY20 COSSAP grantee profile, introductory meeting scheduled for 1/28 to discuss grantee's grant plan and present CHJ TTA services. Call 2/1 with grantee. Reviewed grantee's grantee project description and sub awardee's project design outline. Grantee has a meeting is scheduled for 2/24 with key personal from the major grant stakeholders to discuss proposed changes. Follow-up TA call scheduled for 3/10. 3.10.22 Call: Grantee meeting with Health care provider was beneficial.
