I am requesting TTA assistance in acquiring training that moves us towards a peace officer organization through the police2peace movement.

Provide scholarship funding, ($40,000 total over 4 years of award), for capital defense practitioners to attend capital conferences sponsored by other organizations.
NW3C plans to send Glen Gainer and Lori Petro to the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards & Training (IADLEST) Partner Advisory Committee. The meeting is held in conjunction with the IACP Annual Conference. IADLEST's current programs and initaitives will be discussed, including the national certification program.
NW3C plans to send staff Jeff Lybarger and Tyler Wotring to attend the conference to collect latest trends in crime investigations that could be incorporated into the NW3C/BJA educational resources.
NW3C plans to send staff Robin Elkins to attend various sessions and networked for future NW3C webinar presentations.
NW3C plans to send staff to attend the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) 2022 National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) Violent Crime Reduction Summit in order to attend and collect information that can be included into the BJA educational resources, establish networking, and to operate an information booth to communicate the NW3C/BJA training and technical assistance that is available to criminal justice practitioners. NW3C will send Lori Petro.

As a part of its efforts to increase access to restorative justice education, the NCORJ provides at least 10 scholarships to the USD's Professional Certificate in Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership program per academic semester.
