Mr. Hood and Mr. Jansen conducted a site visit to Yolo County District Attorney's Office. Yolo county DA requested information training on Intelligence Driven Prosecuoin and an overall evaluation of the operations of the Yolo County District Attorney's Office.
During the month of December, CJI drafted and submitted the subcontract to the Mississippi Department of Corrections for their review.
Mr. Jansen participated in a conference call with Joseph Grubb of the Delaware Department of Justice regarding a potential TTA site visit to Wilmington, DL.
APA's Beth Merachnik Participated in weekly conference calls with Carmen Facciolo of BJA to discuss the progress of the Smart Prosecution Initiative
Provide fidelity guidance to Washington State's SAC program
There have been continued delays in implementing the automated court reminder system due to a planned change in data systems. It is no longer anticipated to begin in this grant period. A budget amendment has been signed to move those funds, which were relatively small, to supporting the probation department in their SOARING 2 implementation.
Robert Hood met with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, including MC Molidor and managers of the Neighborhood Prosecutors Unit.
