The Little Rock, Arkansas Police Department (PD), as part of the Little Rock Violence Reduction Network (VRN), requested technical assistance in Project Safe Neighborhoods and Drug Market Intervention. Michigan State University (MSU) School of Criminal Justice was selected to provide the assistance, and conducted a two-day site visit to administer and assessment pool and provide assistance on partnerships, collaboration, and implementation of evidence-based practices. The final report was delivered to Little Rock VRN in November 2016.

Establish new operational systems for grant management of the PRC and ensure the smooth and successful transition of PREA Resource Center (PRC) operations from the previous cooperative agreement holder, the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD), to Impact Justice effective October 1, 2016. Both parties worked collaboratively under a Memorandum of Agreement to ensure the transition proceeded without any interruption in the activities of the PRC and services to the field.

Provided remote TA to Ingram State Technical College in AL, and the ADOC.Provided information and resources to the Office of Senator Brian Schatz (HI) on offering college in prison. Connected staff at the Higher Education Initiative in TN to those in the NC Department of Public Safety regarding use of technology, specifically internet, in prisons. Provided remote TA to the University of Baltimore, as it developed a new college in prison program.
