Establish new operational systems for grant management of the PRC and ensure the smooth and successful transition of PREA Resource Center (PRC) operations from the previous cooperative agreement holder, the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD), to Impact Justice effective October 1, 2016. Both parties worked collaboratively under a Memorandum of Agreement to ensure the transition proceeded without any interruption in the activities of the PRC and services to the field. The scope of the effort included personnel transitions, data migration, systems migration, and the establishment of critical sub-recipient awards and contracts. The PRC experienced no interruption in activities and successfully:
• Migrated five years of operating data and records, including email data with no gap for staff transitioning from NCCD to Impact Justice
• Transitioned multiple live systems without interruption such as the PRC website, the Auditor Continuing Education and Resource Portal, and the Online Audit System
• Re-established key partnerships with TTA providers and other stakeholders
• Maintained staff capacity and ongoing operations for critical programs, such as field-initiated training and technical assistance (TTA), audit quality improvement and continuing education (including probationary auditor report reviews and auditor helpline staffing), the auditor field training program, and event planning for future trainings.
Moreover, staff worked to ensure that any improvements to be made to processes or systems were implemented at the time of transition.
