The Business Systems Analyst through the Phase II pass-through funding has been hired. The new Business Systems Analyst, Sarah Harris, started on May 16, 2016.
During the month of March, CJI continued to work with MDOC on the Phase II subaward modification request which MDOC expects to submit to CJI in April. CJI is also continuing to work with MDOC on their PEI training needs. MDOC would like to contract with the University of Cincinnati to conduct a PEI train-the-trainer to ensure the sustainability of the training curriculum. The costs of the PEI T4T will be included in the Phase II subaward modification.
CJI is continued in June to work with MDOC on the subaward modification. MDOC would like to use some of the remaining subaward funding to contract with a consultant to deliver a PEI train-the-trainer. In addition, MDOC would like to use some of the funding to continue to fund the Phase II Coordinator position, train staff on the Thinking for a Change curriculum, and expand programming offered in the TVCs.
In June, CJI has all of the information needed for the subaward modification and is in the final stages of preparing the grants adjustment notification memo for BJA.
