NW3C asked to send staff Justin Fitzsimmons to present on topic called, "Defendants’ Use of Digital Evidence in the Commission or Furtherance of Criminal Activity: Understanding the Nuances of Search and Seizure, Discovery & Authentication". The presentation is described as, "As you encounter more defendants and witnesses using a variety of electronic evidence daily, issues regarding victims’ safety when utilizing this evidence as well as the increased use by defendants of this evidence in the furtherance of criminal acts has hit an all-time high.

NW3C will send Randy Stickley to conduct presentations at the IALEIA/LEIU conference in Las Vegas. Ms. Stickley conducted two co-branded sessions entitled "Critical Thinking and Biases in Analysis." Both workshop sessions were one of two certified offerings to obtain "Fundamentals in Criminal Intelligence" certificate. Both sessions garnered a little over 400 attendees. This entry is for the second presentation.
