Provided an in-depth review of the opioid crisis, an overview of the regional data center, the need and potential impact of the center, advance notice of center features, and links between these efforts and others in the region.

To a group of mental health and social service workers, a comprehensive overview of DDRC and drug use in Alabama was provided.

The first of the bi-annual RxCheck Governance Board meetings was held virtually on March 9, 2023. Thirty-three of the thirty-eight member PDMPs were in attendance, The agenda sessions at the meeting included:

3. RxConsole User Guide
4. Website Workgroup Report
5. Future meeting schedule

The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues, such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. Below is a listing of some of the conference call that PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated:

The PDMP TTAC team hosts and facilitates monthly conference calls with the RxCheck Governance Board; the PMIX Standards Organization; the PMIX Operations, Technical, Standards Compliance Subcommittees; and ad hoc committees as needed to support the groups in accomplishing their goals. During this reporting period, the PDMP TTAC team hosted and facilitated 7 conference calls with the various PMIX groups.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based practice based on cognitive behavioral practices. This webinar will provide an introduction for RSAT staff to DBT and its use with clients with substance use disorder in correctional settings. Licensed Mental Health Counselor Roberta Churchill will provide a brief history and use of DBT. Clinical staff from Franklin County Jail in Massachusetts and Sanpete County Jail in Utah will present on their experience implementing DBT in correctional settings and in RSAT programs.

FY 2022 CTAS Orientation was held as a hybrid event. The main Orientation plenary sessions were held in December 2022. (reported previously). The individual CTAS Orientation Purpose Area Workshop sessions were held separately in a virtual format.

Creating a full scale, theoretical evaluation plan for Operation BRIDGE, run out of the Department of Public Safety in Ohio.

NCJA is engaging with the Richland County (SC) Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. The Richland CJCC is a newly formed CJCC that needs assistance in creating buy-in from stakeholders and determining the goals of the county. NCJA partnered with Policy Research Associates to conduct a sequential intercept mapping for Richland County.

This virtual convening, hosted by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) through COSSAP, will focus on tackling one of the most critical challenges of our time: putting an end to America’s opioid, stimulant, and substance misuse. The virtual setting will offer the feel of an in-person event, allowing participants to connect directly with colleagues to hear from federal experts, discuss relevant issues and trends, share ideas, exchange resources, and gain new skills to improve programs.
