CSG Justice Center staff worked with partners to promote the public feedback opportunity. CSG Justice Center also prepared to present at the American Probation and Parole Association conference in Indianapolis as detailed under Objective 3.

Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support. (Developing Promotional Materials and Conference Appearances)
In Indiana, CSG Justice Center Staff alongside state champion, Cass County Court and Pretrial Services Director, Hillary Hartoin, delivered a mainstage presentation titled: Making Justice Count in Probation and Parole: Data as a storytelling mechanism at the 49th Annual American Probation and Parole Association Training Institute.

Objective 7: Facilitate the adoption and implementation of Justice Counts in additional states. (Light Touch States)
In California CSG Justice Center staff met with the California District Attorneys Association to provide them with an introduction to Justice Counts and an avenue to assist with their Accountability Bill.?In California CSG Justice Center staff introduced the project to Deputy Attorney General.?

The PRC will operate an assistance request form on its website and will respond to assistance requests by engaging with jurisdictions, assessing what services are appropriate, and meeting the needs of the requesting organization as resources allow. All data regarding the interaction will be tracked in the PRC's information database. Full assistance cases will be reported as individual TTAs.
The PRC processed/closed 38 Request for Assistance cases between January - June 2024.

The NPCWG has requested that The Moss Group, Inc. (TMG) present at its 6th annual conference being held in Buffalo, New York, July 23-25, 2024. The requested presentation will focus on Supporting Sexual Safety in Women?s Facilities and will be conducted on July 23. The session will be 1.5 hours in length

The National PREA Coordinator?s Working Group Conference (NPCWGC), requested assistance with educating conference attendees on Interviewing victims, witnesses, and perpetrators to effect a thorough investigation into sexual abuse/sexual harassment investigations. The training will be presented at the National Conference held in Buffalo, NY, July 23-25, 2024. The Primary attendees will be PREA Coordinators from Prisons, Jails, and Juvenile facilities from across the country.
