Objective 9: Provide structured, ongoing support up to 15 Category 1 grantee states and support the field. (IG States/ Vendor and Automation)
In Arizona, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Navajo County Probation Department to plan for onboarding, and also met with the Coconino County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council who have agreed to share all the data currently in their county dashboard.?CSG Justice Center staff were also on site to meet with stakeholders in Cochise, Greenlee and Graham Counties where they met with The Sierra Vista Police Department, the Cochise County Attorney's Office, the Bisbee Justice Court, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, the Benson Police Department, the Greenlee County Superior Court, the Greenlee County Attorney's Office, the Greenlee County Probation Department, the Thatcher Police Department, the Graham County Superior Court, the Graham County Sheriff's Office, and the Graham County Justice Court.
In Illinois CSG Justice Center staff worked with staff of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority in Publisher to share corrections data dating back from 1980.?
In North Carolina CSG Justice Center staff were on site to meet with staff from the North Carolina Criminal Justice Analysis Center. During the visit CSG staff lead project planning meetings, creating timelines and deliverables for agency engagement and data-sharing. They created a quarter three plan to have data shared for law enforcement, prisons, community supervision, and jails by September 30, 2024.?
In Georgia CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from the Georgia Administrative Office of the Courts Judicial Council to collaborate on a quarter 3 planning document, plan site visit and discuss the test data load for 16 Georgia courts.
Staff from the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission and the Wisconsin Department of Justice met to discuss Justice Counts implementation.? In Wisconsin CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from the Wisconsin Department of Justice to touch base on their progress building their internal data warehouse and piloting data sharing with prosecution and jail agencies.?
Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support. (Developing Promotional Materials and Conference Appearances)
In Indiana, CSG Justice Center Staff alongside state champion, Cass County Court and Pretrial Services Director, Hillary Hartoin, delivered a mainstage presentation titled: Making Justice Count in Probation and Parole: Data as a storytelling mechanism at the 49th Annual American Probation and Parole Association Training Institute.
