The Chesterfield County/City of Colonial Heights Community Corrections Services requested technical assistance for mapping the residences of clients receiving public assistance and/or mental health services from the local government to ultimately improve efficiency in the delivery of such services. Stewart Bruce was selected to fulfill this request and provided onsite evaluation services of existing resources, met with agency personnel and other community stakeholders, and developed a comprehensive final report with recommendations for the initiative. BJA NTTAC referred the requestor to the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC).

Chesterfield County/City of Colonial Heights Community Corrections Services and its county partners are requesting technical assistance for a community mapping project. The purpose of the project is to develop maps which show where clients of specific county agencies reside, and specifically those clients who receive services from multiple county agencies (i.e.: on community corrections services and receiving public assistance and mental health services).

The Middle Atlantic States Correctional Association (MASCA) draws our membership from correctional professionals in all fields of institutional and community corrections as well as juvenile justice agencies in the states listed above. MASCA holds an annual training conference to provide speakers and workshops on a variety of topics of interest to our membership. This year the annual conference will be held in Ocean City, MD, from June 12 to 15, 2016. We are requesting a speaker or panel to discuss issues related to human trafficking.
