In November 2024 the TA Center met with 66 grantees (one of them twice).
In October 2024 the TA Center met with 89 grantees (a small number more than once).
In September 2024 the TA Center met with 94 grantees (a small number more than once).
In August 2024 the TA Center met with 75 grantees (a small number more than once).
In July 2024 the TA Center met with 86 grantees (some of them twice).
The team was invited by the American Correctional Association to deliver a presentation on contraband cellphone-related challenges and the latest developments to combat these at their summer conference in August 2024. The presentation was well-attended by correctional practitioners in the US and other countries, researchers, and students. Attendees were offered an opportunity for in-person light touch TTA following the presentation, with several practitioners meeting with members of the project team regarding questions about interdiction practices and technology implementation.
Met and corresponded with grantee 8 times between October and December of 2024 on 10/1, 10/2, 10/3, 10/22, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3, and 12/17
Summary of Successes
3 staff members from CHJ conducted an on site visit from 10/1-10/3 with the grantee during which they conducted street outreach and facilitated a strategic meeting with agency leaders to discuss future planning and direction of the program. Staff visited potential fire stations with Minneapolis Fire Department (MFD) to expand the MARI program to.

Summary of Successes
Low barrier housing (not directly related) 24 hour drop off, great opportunity with LE to have a place to drop people off. Resource for LEAD team as place to do outreach and to recommend to people. Can help with staff feeling defeated when they can’t take someone to the shelter
