NW3C will send staff, Billy Rodgers to the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The Association requested a subject matter expert on the topic of Fraud and Open-Source Investigations. Mr. Rodgers will conduct a one-day conference at the Desales University Campus in Center Valley, PA.
To fund speakers to present at the Maryland conference as part of the Adult Treatment Court Initiative (ATCTI).
To fund speakers presenting content on emerging topics at statewide or regional conferences in part of the Justice For Vets participation through VTTA (Veterans Training and Technical Assistance).
NW3C to send staff Billy Rodgers to attend the Cyber Fraud Task Force Meeting to conduct a 30 minute presentation on the NW3C/BJA TTA resources. Also the meeting includes various presentations by other attendees about Gootloader Malware using Google searches, the inside scoop on Digital Evidence Standards and why they matter to you, cryptocurrency, pig butchering and sextortion along with various vendor presentations.

NW3C to send staff Laura Cook to attend the IACP conference and to provide an SME panel discussion and presentation on the topic of, "Safeguarding Seniors: Combating Elder Fraud in the Digital Age". The presentation is described as, "As elder fraud continues to escalate, it poses significant challenges, with perpetrators often operating from overseas and leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.
