NW3C will send staff Justin Parker, training manager to present at the 2024 National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) Training Event in Washington, DC. The intent was to raise awareness on FREE training resources and technical assistance available by BJA, IIR, and NW3C. Additionally, the panel wanted to facilitate a discussion on training needs and to determine what's working, what needs fixed, and what's broken in respect to national training offerings for local and state law enforcement.

The 2024 National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) Analyst Summit was held in Washington DC on 25 March, prior to the NFCA Annual Training Event. Attendees, primarily analysts, from across the National Network of Fusion Centers and other federal partners are the target audience for this event. NNFC Analyst Council Vice Chair Jaime Morse, NY State Police - NY State Intelligence Center, was the lead planner for the 2024 Summit and requested a 45-minute training block on Intelligence Requirements. The overall event was attended by approximately 220 individuals.

NW3C will send staff Chuck Cohen to deliver a keynote at this conference on June 19. The presentation topic will be "Technology Insights for Police Executives: Navigating New Frontiers in Investigations, Intelligence, and Security" The presentation is described as, "This plenary presentation delivers an immersive journey into the cutting-edge world of iOS and Android OS device geolocation by combining simple explanations of complex technologies and case examples.

White Earth Nation is working with a nonprofit called Niibi Center with the goal of developing traditional Anishinaabe Law in collaboration with the White Earth courts. Request is for resources for development and training that might have available. Also a request for a person to participate in an upcoming conference they have in achieving this same goal. The initial call was held on March 22, 2024. TLPI identified consultant Korey Wahwassuck to attend the 2nd Annual Anishinaabe Law conference on June 23-24, 2024 at Mahnomen, MN.

On February 22, 2024, a member of the SLATT team and two SMEs delivered two in-person presentations at the Wisconsin Active Threat Integrated Response Conference, hosted in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The first presentation consisted of a SLATT Program overview and the Detect and Interdict: Specialized Roles in Uncovering and Preventing Terrorism (DISRUPT) lesson titled, “The First Responder’s View of the San Bernardino, CA Terrorist Attack,” which occurred on December 2, 2015, in San Bernardino, California. Approximately 130 participants attended the presentation.

On February 15, 2024, a SLATT team member and SME delivered two in-person presentations at a law enforcement training event hosted by the Milwaukee Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Wisconsin, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
