NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Cyber Crime Investigations - Using OSINT to locate/identify targets quicker". The presentation is described as, "In a world where technology is ever evolving so is the sophistication of the criminals behind cybercrimes. This workshop will discuss and demonstrate how using OSINT (Open Source Intelligent Techniques) can assist in conducting efficient online investigations.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "The Vital Role of Preservation Letters in Online Investigations". The presentation is described as, "In today's world, social media dominates the way people communicate and it's where criminals exploit users. In many instances, evidence has been lost from online platforms such as Snapchat, Kik, and Facebook during an investigation because the evidence wasn't preserved.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Rapidly Changing Legal Challenges to Digital Evidence for Law Enforcement (LEO/Prosecutor Only)". The presentation is described as, "This is an NW3C and MA AGO listening session for SLTT LEAs/LEOs to better understand for DOJ BJA the impact that emerging legal challanges and restrictions are having on the use of digital evidence in criminal justice both in terms of Daubert hearings as well as recent decisions in case law.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Changing the Game: New Standards Development for Digital Forensic Quality Management". The presentation is described as, "Currently Digital Forensic Quality Management Accreditation of Digital Multimedia Evidence Forensic Science Service Providers occurs under ISO Standards. In 2023, SWGDE began creating a standard for Quality Management of Digital Forensic Labs.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "AI Facilitated Criminal Tradecraft Part 1 - My How You've Grown". The presentation is described as, "Come take a broad look at the emerging types of criminal tradecraft facilitated by AI and how those crimes have both diversified and increased exponentially over the past 12 months. This presentation will review trends, technical considerations and investigative approaches."

The presentation is described as, "This is an NW3C and MA AGO listening session for SLTT LEAs/LEOs to better understand for DOJ BJA the impact that Artificial Intelligence is having on criminal justice both in terms of criminal AI tradecraft as well as SLTT LEA use of the technology.

To fund speakers to present at the Virginia conference as part of the Adult Treatment Court Initiative (ATCTI).

The RVCRI team will fund RVCRI team members and the Kent, NY Police Department to present at the Small & Rural Law Enforcement Executives Association 2024 Conference.
