This technical assistance will help with the classification and prioritization of high-risk violent offenders. It will allow SCDPPPS to focus its limited resources on those most likely to reoffend, which will increase the safety of domestic violence victims and the community. One objective for this technical assistance is to have a subject matter expert provide assistance with finalizing the DVSA, including determining if the most appropriate metrics are measured and scored appropriately.
We are in need of assistance to plan, implement and evaluate the feasibility of a felony diversion program in Santa Barbara County. This may include assistance with analyzing data, facilitating planning sessions, and attending site visits to other felony diversion programs that are currently operating throughout the country. Our main objectives are for the Center for Court Innovation (CCI) to complete an on-site assessment, conduct resource mapping, and assist with the development of an implementation plan for a felony diversion program in Santa Barbara County.
Pierce County District Court Probation is seeking a professional review of our proposed administrative interventions program to determine it is alignment with swift, certain and fair practices. We would like technical assistance in determining the necessary data collection needed to guide our program.
The Baltimore Police Department is requesting SME assistance in the area of effective organizational communication skill building for its executive and command level officers. The audience for this instruction and training would be command level supervisors. At a minimum the instruction would include techniques for effectively communicating both on an internal and external level to subordinate officers, non-sworn staff, community members and media.
