This session was provided through the NTTAC Training and Technical Assistance College to discuss characteristics of adult learners, best practices for providing interaction in both face-to-face and virtual seetings, and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning.
This orientation session introduced the Cohort to eachother and the broader Impact Justice Team, including the President, Vice President of Innovations, Vice President of Finance, Director of the Housing Lab, Senior Program Manager of the Housing Lab (leading the work with the Hosuing Incubator), Senior Finance Associate, and Senior Researcher. Impact Justice walked the grantees through invoicing/reimbursements, grant requirements, timelines, and expectations. Space was also held for Q&A and a post-survey.
Impact Justice (IJ) collaborated with BJA and CSG for the Second Chance Act Conference. As part of our requirement as a TA provider, IJ hosted a total of 4 sessions, which included speakers from our inaugural cohort of the National Reentry Housing Incubator. IJ met with each organization that was selected to participate to provide a detailed overview of the session and a facilitator's guide for added context and preparation.

A recurring optional time for Cohort members to connect, share insights, and support each other. Each month there may be a specific area of focus, an introduction to leaders in the space, and/or a space to drop in and say hello, enhancing the cohort-style enviornment.
