CSG Justice Center conducted technical assistance to Missouri vai a TA call held on 8.2 with MO DOC and CSG Justice Center staff. The CSG Justice Center Research team connected with Missouri Data head, who says MO is already connected with Coleridge. MO data team would like some recommendations on how and who to provide information and recommendations to. Economic Mobility mapping is almost complete and the mapping of region by region for sever collateral consenquences is in process. CSG is examining where programming is happening and looking for overlap for maximum opportunity.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted technical assistance to Alabama with an in-person site visit August 6-8 to Perry County PREP Center and meetings with Birmingham Reentry Alliance | Alabama Appleseed, ADOC and ABPP. One CSG team member attended an Alabama Joint Re-Entry Commission Meeting on August 27, 2024 in-person, the rest of team attended virtually; August 14 meeting with East AlabamaWorks; TA call with Alabama Reentry 2030 team on 8/19; 8/22 virtual listening session with probation and parole officers; 8/26 Alabama team TA call

CSG Justice Center staff conducted a meeting with Alaska Department of Corrections to discuss their interest in Reentry 2030. DOC staff expressed that they will be pausing Reentry 2030 engagement at this time.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted technical assistance to Washington through TA calls on 7/2/24 and 7/22/24 with the WA team to discuss communications and logistics for the upcoming launch. CSG and WA worked on ensuring all materials are ready. 7/ 23/24 - Email from CSG to WA DOC with a draft agenda for the launch and clarifications on some details. WA DOC provided feedback, and many items are still in progress. 7/18/24 - Email from CSG to WA DOC, informing her that of the CSG staff lead for the launch. CSG also requested documents from WA related to the launch.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted technical assistance to Nebraska through a TA call held on 7/19 and 7/26 with five members from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NCDS), including the Deputy Director – Programs; Assistant Deputy Director – Reentry; Case Management Coordinator; Assistant Deputy Director of Classification; and Reentry Program Manager. CSG staff planned for follow-up outreach to Cabinet agencies, Reentry Taskforce and Working Group launches, and landscape analysis.

CSG Justice Center staff provided technical assistance to Missouri via an email on 7/17/24 to MO DOC to set a call to discuss progress of Reentry 2030 goals; the meeting took place in August. CSG Justice Center research team spoke with MO DOC and they are making progress on what will be helpful for them for data and they are progressing to identify actionable and measurable data to support Missouri's goals. Mapping of collateral consequences by region is underway, and findings will be presented to Missouri upon completion.

Ms. Kristine Hamann from the NRTAC team has been invited to participate in a meeting hosted by the Connecticut Office of the State Attorney General. The meeting will be attended by prosecutors throughout the State of Connecticut. The purpose of Ms. Hamann’s participation in the meeting is to highlight the role prosecutors must assume to appropriately support the various BJA-funded CGICs in Connecticut. Additionally, Ms. Hamann will discuss the prosecutor training curriculum developed by the NRTAC and help coordinate its delivery to prosecutors in the State of Connecticut.
