NAICJA staff & consultants presented at the HTWC Enhancement Training on September 26-27, 2022 on Developing Collaborative Models of Linking Healing Court Participants to Legal Services and Veterans' Outreach and Legal Assistance in Rural and Geographically Vast and Diverse Areas. Additionally, NAICJA moderated a Roundtable/Symposium session to discuss challenges/barriers and suggested legal service needs for AI/AN Veterans, and receive feed back on the Native Veterans project logo design.

Webinar Title: Native Veterans Project: Protecting those who Protected Us
The Native Veterans Project is a BJA-funded project on creating a veterans clinic in
Indian Country. There is limited access to legal assistance by low-income individuals,
including veterans, appearing in tribal courts. A tribal legal clinic model will focus on
and address the needs of Native American veterans as a high volume of requests from
