A one-hour virtual training session provided and hosted by NADCP; open to the interested public, this webinar features an imperative and informative topic related to treatment courts with a focus on veteran clients.
To fund speakers presenting content on emerging topics at statewide or regional conferences in part of the Justice For Vets participation through VTTA (Veterans Training and Technical Assistance).
This TTA will investigate 1) three type of general IOT Hardware Development Kits, HDKs (low profile, medium profile, and high profile based on their capabilities) devices, 2) the forensics analysis for IoT devices and applications for personal or commercial use, and 3) the artifacts of IoT applications on computers, cell phones, and other mobile devices, such as Windows 10 laptop, an iPhone, and an android phone.
The PRC will operate an assistance request form on its website and will respond to assistance requests by engaging with jurisdictions, assessing what services are appropriate, and meeting the needs of the requesting organization as resources allow. All data regarding the interaction will be tracked in the PRC's information database. Full assistance cases will be reported as individual TTAs.
The PRC processed/closed 37 Request for Assistance cases between July - December 2023.

Workshop presenters discussed the vital importance of agency culture and its intersection with meeting the goals and requirements of PREA. Presenters also shared examples of best practices in PREA implementation to include how to establish a strong reporting culture, the value of building relationships with external advocates, the importance of leadership support for PREA Coordinators and PREA Compliance Managers, and other strategies. This workshop was presented at the American Correctional Association (ACA) Summer Conference held August 12, 2023.

NAICJA staff co-presented on October 25, 2023 on “Native American and Alaska Native Veterans: Justice Outreach, Legal Assistance and Services, Veteran Courts” with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Veteran Justice Outreach and Legal Services) and the AllRise’s Justice for Vets at NAICJA’s 54th National Tribal Judicial and Court Personnel conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
