The PRC will operate an assistance request form on its website and will respond to assistance requests by engaging with jurisdictions, assessing what services are appropriate, and meeting the needs of the requesting organization as resources allow. All data regarding the interaction is tracked in the PRC's information database. Full assistance cases are reported as individual TTAs.
The PRC processed/closed 30 Request for Assistance cases between July - December 2025.

Wellness Court Specialist Angie Juarez-Monger presented the newly developed TLPI veteran infographic, "Models for Integrating Veterans' Services with Tribal healing to Wellness Courts" at the 2024 NAIJCA National Tribal Judicial and Court Personnel Conference during the Native American Veterans, Veteran Justice Outreach, and Veteran Treatment Courts session.

American Indians and Alaska Natives (AIAN) have a long tradition of service in the U.S. military. AIAN veterans are experiencing the negative outcomes of their military service in the form of high rates of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), suicide, "functional disabilities," housing instability, and low employment rates, compared to other veterans. Thus, "access to justice" for AIAN veterans then can be particularly complex.

This reporting period, on September 18, Center staff Sheila McCarthy in collaboration with Center’s Tribal Justice Exchange team presented at the Tribal Law and Policy Institute’s (TLPI) annual Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Implementation and Enhancement Training in Phoenix, Arizona. The presentation titled “Veterans Treatment Courts: National Trends, Promising Practices, and Considerations for Tribal Adaptations” highlighted lessons learned from the field that are unique to the veteran population and the solutions developed in response.

Two-day, in-person mentor professional development training featuring seven training sessions, with topics focusing on the mentor program and its volunteers in veterans treatment courts. All sessions will include a 45-minute to one-hour-long presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.

This presentation will explore the ever-increasing importance of IoT crime scenes and the potential evidence generated by IOT devices and wearable devices. The session will include real-world examples showcasing IoT crime scenes and exhibits, illustrating how these interconnected devices have played a pivotal role in solving cases.

NW3C sent staff and facilitators to present at the 2024 National Cyber Crime Conference (NCCC) on the topic called, "Digital Frontiers: Navigating Emerging Technologies in 21st Century Prosecutions ". The presentation is described as, "This presentation introduces a comprehensive course designed for prosecutors who handle criminal prosecutions based on digital evidence. The course will cover a range of emerging technologies that are increasingly pivotal in legal proceedings.
