NCCJD conducted the sixth and final Pathways to Justice training of the project period in Ventura County, CA in partnership with The Arc of Ventura County. There were a total of 75 participants. Pre/post testing was conducted and evaluation summary is reported in deliverable inventory.

John Butler presented on procedural justice at the annual conference for the American Probation and Parole Association. He co-presented with Frank Scherer, Director of Adult Probation in Allegheny County, PA, who discussed current research on procedural justice, highlighted promising practices from community corrections officers in
the field, and explored the challenges of implementation..

Center staff will assist court managers at the Newark Municipal Court to assess the strengths and challenges of enhancing court users' perceptions of fairness. This will include a site assessment of court observations and a report that documents observed practices and outlines recommendations for improvement.
