The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools since 3/2/2022, with their intake meeting occurring on 4/22/2022. There have been 5 additional follow-up meetings. 4 of these follow-up meetings occurred within the current reporting period.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This one-on-one assistance was first offered in January 2021, and capacity was increased due to the addition of two Technical Assistance Specialists in April 2021. Intensive TA was provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Kent Intermediate School District (ISD) was one of these agencies. Their intake meeting occurred on 1/29/2021. Kent ISD received a Fiscal Year 2022 BJA STOP Grant, which brought in new team members.

TA Specialists have been in contact with Hillsborough County School District since 2/28/2022, with their intake meeting occurring on 3/29/2022. There have been two follow up meetings since their intake, both of which took place during the current reporting period.

Launched earlier this year, the Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Oriented Schools Toolkit provides tools for building an understanding of trauma and encouraging a shift in how educators view students and their experiences.

In this webinar, presenters from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing share an overview of the toolkit, common elements in each section, and describe who can benefit from using it.
