The coaches and the site are in the same city so it made sense to visit to talk through and work on the implementation plan. During the site visit the coaches had a tour of the facility in addition to working on the implementation plan and developing next steps.
Assisted the site in developing their implementation plan, developed a tracking form for their match materials, assisted in modifying plans in response to COVID-19 since in-person trainings are not currently allowed.
The Impact of Women's Supervision Violations on the Criminal Justice System
The coaches provided assistance in completing the implementation guide and time task plan. Coaches also helped to review their staffing plan and sent resources to the grantee to assist the facility in keeping youth safe from sexual abuse.
The coaches spent two days onsite to do an assessment to gauge PREA implementation to inform the development of the implementation plan. It consisted of a facility tour and meetings with key personnel as well as development of an outline of the implementation plan.
