Staff with PRC presented information on PREA Implementation within Juvenile Justice Agencies and Facilities at Meetings conducted by the Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators. PRC Staff Director Dana Shoenberg and PRC Staff Senior Program Manager, Teresa Stroud presented.
We developed and began administering a new diagnostic examination for auditors in their third round of recertification. We also have begun to develop remediation modules to assign to auditors following their completion of the exam that become requirements for recertification. This approach replaces the old pass/fail model of examination.

The grant coaches conducted a three-day site visit on March 28-30, 2023. During this site visit, coaches conducted facility leadership briefing meetings, facility tours, engaged in formal and informal interviews, reviewed policy, practices, and any documented evidence of compliance with all PREA standards and provided feedback regarding the level of readiness in each mentioned PREA Standard. Documented level of readiness within each mentioned PREA Standard. Conducted a Q & A meeting with WCJDC's 1st shift (AM) and 2nd shift (PM) staff.
