the 2017 Hal Bruno Camp for Children of Fallen Firefighters, ages 7-17. Camp will be held on July 21-23 in Ward, Colorado. Camp for children ages 4-6 will be held at the same time in nearby Westminster, Colorado and will include a component for all campers’ parents/guardians that will focus on parenting children who are grieving.

CSG Justice Center staff met grantee at the National Mentoring Summit and discussed challenges with mentor recruitment, primarily from the DC area, and talked through some potential solutions.

Request for presenters from or sanctioned by PRC to deliver workshops and be present for all PRC workshops at the conference. There was a comprehensive track of PREA and sexual safety related workshops at the conference.

Kathy Mitchell from OJJDP and CSG Justice Center staff visited DJJ?to provide a training on gender-responsivity for girls in the single female facility in the state, and I met with DJJ?senior leadership to discuss intersecting reforms, current challenges, and priorities moving forward. CSG Justice Center staff also participated in the quarterly reentry task force meeting.?

Vera is conducting an assessment of Middlesex DOC's use of segregated housing through site visits and analysis of policies and data. Upon completion of the assessment, Vera will present recommendations on how Middlesex DOC can safely reduce its use of segregated housing and help with the implementation of these recommendations.
