The St. Louis, Missouri Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), as part of the St. Louis Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI DIVRT: San Diego- Session 2. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the St. Louis PSP site to attend the conference from July 7 – 10, 2019 in San Diego, California.
The Jackson, Mississippi Police Department (JPD), as part of the Jackson Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI DIVRT Training. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to three representatives from the Jackson PSP site to attend the conference in San Diego, California on July 9 - 12, 2019.
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department (MPD), as part of the Milwaukee Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI DIVRT Training - San Diego: Session 2. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to one representative from the New Orleans PSP site to attend the conference from July 9 - 12, 2019 in San Diego, California.
The Springfield, Illinois Police Department (SPD), as part of the Springfield Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the FBI DIVRT Training on September 10 – 11, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The requestor withdrew the request.
IACP will develop and conduct a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis to identify TTA needs for each task force. The SWOT analysis will be conducted using electronic surveying and phone interviews. Based on the outcome of the assessments, in consultation with BJA, IACP will develop/enhance/refine training for delivery to the ECM task forces.
Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representatives to attend the 2019 National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) Forum. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for four representatives to attend the 2019 NCJA Forum from September 16-18, 2019 in Arlington, Virginia.
The Decatur County, Indiana Sheriff's Office requested use of force training. Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided the training titled “Decision Making: Foundations of Reasonable Force,” to 38 members of 14 agencies, including the Decatur County Sheriff's Office, on January 28, 2020 in Decatur County, Indiana.
