A site visit was conducted in Charleston, West Virginia on November 11 and 12 to connect with key legislative and executive stakeholders about the executive order to form the working group, attend interim session hearings, and meet with additional stakeholders to perform qualitative analysis.

11/10: In-person meeting with FWD.US: CSG Justice Center staff met with Conrad Lucas (Lobbyist, Right on Crime), Jordan Burgess, Elissa Johnson (VP of Criminal Justice Campaign), and Tinsae Gebriel (VP of Criminal Justice Research and Policy) to discuss the WV project and their policy goals for the 2025 session. 12/04 In-person meeting with Felicia Freeman (Analyst, NC DAC) and Jenn Adams (Program Analyst, NC DAC) to review the final presentation, findings from the data analysis, and policies for further analysis. (2 participants, 1 agency)

December 16: CSG Justice Center staff attended the December meeting of the Legislative Recidivism Reduction Task Force to deliver a presentation with DOC data analysis findings and final policy recommendations. (16 participants representing 14 agencies)

October 24: CSG Justice Center staff attended the October meeting of the Legislative Recidivism Reduction Task Force to deliver a presentation about court data in Arkansas. (16 participants representing 14 agencies)

October 24: CSG Justice Center staff met with Senator Clarke Tucker to discuss logistical next steps for the remaining presentations and drafting of the task force's final recommendations. (1 person representing 2 agencies)

October 24: CSG Justice Center staff met with Cathleen Compton (Judge for the 6th Judicial Circuit) to hear her insights on recidivism in Arkansas and its effect on the criminal justice system. (1 person representing 1 agency)

The PRC will operate an assistance request form on its website and will respond to assistance requests by engaging with jurisdictions, assessing what services are appropriate, and meeting the needs of the requesting organization as resources allow. All data regarding the interaction is tracked in the PRC's information database. Full assistance cases are reported as individual TTAs.
The PRC processed/closed 30 Request for Assistance cases between July - December 2025.
