In November, CSG Justice Center staff continued to work internally with leadership on revisions for the round 2 briefs (VT, MT, WY). No other work or meetings occurred in the month.
In October, the Georgia and Missouri briefs were published on the JRI website. CSG Justice Center staff continued to work internally with leadership on revisions for the round 2 briefs (VT, MT, WY). CJI and CSG Justice Center staff met to discuss updates on the state briefs and JRI website updates and met with BJA staff to discuss next steps in the project.
There were 6 in-person and virtual site visits between September and December 2024. This included a virtual site visit with FY21 Pine Belt Mental Health Resources, MS, on August 20, 2024, and an in-person site visit with FY23 New Castle County, DE, to discuss program goals, review planning documents, and share resources.
Objective 6: Provide intensive TA to 10 states, supporting the adoption and use of the Justice Counts metrics to drive decision-making.
9/4 - Meeting with Judge Carrie Stiller, Superior Court Judge & Floyd County JRAC Chair to discuss how Justice Counts could support their work in Floyd County. (1 person, representing 2 agencies)

9/4- Meeting with Judge Mary Ellen Diekhoff, Division V, Circuit Court & Monroe County JRAC chair to discuss how Justice Counts can be implemented in Monroe County (1 person, representing two agencies)

Objective 4: Establish core competencies and standards for developing hiring materials and resources for CAs and DOC leadership to assist in hiring qualified analysts and for trainings CAs in software tools, key methodological topics, and data sharing.???

CSG Justice Center staff are recording the videos of the first five Lessons of the "Introduction to R" Course. CSG Justice Center staff are also continuing to work on the first two lessons of a "Getting to Know Your Data" course, and the Data-Driven Decision Making" course.?
