Assisted site in understanding differences between CIT and CRIT and selecting a training for deputies to attend as "students" after attending CRIT TTT.
Connected grantee with other grantee (Dona Ana) in same state facing similar barriers (e.g., rural) to discuss CIT implementation and brainstorm overcoming challenges.
Second virtual meeting of the Steering Committee was hosted on September 10, 2024. During this meeting the Knowledge Lab renewed vision was discussed, and feedback on this renewed vision was received.
Provided grantee with a summary of each CRIT module and shared resource for officers created by Dona Ana County, NM site to help guide curriculum development and overall program.
Connected grantee team and deputies that attended CRIT TTT with TTT trainers for follow up TTA on program implementation. Discussed event and best practices to move the program forward.
