BJA requested the presence and participation of the NRTAC team at the IACP 2024 Annual Conference held from October 19-22 in Boston, Massachusetts. This four-day event featured training, networking opportunities, and educational workshops on various topics important to law enforcement and the work of NRTAC. The NRTAC was invited to participate in a BJA TTA roundtable on the fourth day. Mr. Alan Hughes from the National Policing Institute (NPI) represented the NRTAC in the roundtable, which highlighted the various TTA resources NTTAC can provide to agencies throughout the country.
The development of a guidance document and reference material outlining best practices for establishing JAG Advisory Boards for the Nebraska SAA's office is underway. This board will play a crucial role in supporting NCC's comprehensive strategic planning efforts.
