On August 15, 2024, members of the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) Program team and two subject-matter experts (SMEs) delivered a virtual training titled, “Homegrown Violent Extremist–Threat to Law Enforcement, The Jesse Hartnett Ambush Story.” The 180-minute presentation consisted of a lesson from the “Detect & Interdict: Specialized Roles in Uncovering and Preventing Terrorism” (DISRUPT) training course curriculum and was hosted by the Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network (MAGLOCLEN), Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) Center.
AHP assisted with coordinating, submitting abstract, and reviewing presentation slides for the “Treating Opioid Use Disorder in Jail with Medication Assisted-Treatment (MAT): A Spotlight of Three Jail MAT Programs” session for the American Correctional Association 2024 Winter Conference, January 4, 2024.
AHP coordinated logistics and developed PowerPoint presentation slides for the 2024 American Correctional Association Winter Conference Presentation: “Implementation of Guidelines for Managing Substance Withdrawal in Jails: Lessons from the Field” presented at the ACA conference on January 7, 2024.
