Need assistance in developing a manual for Kentucky Prosecutors to assist in making appropriate bail recommendations based risks to public safety as opposed to defendant's ability to post a monetary bond. Key elements include screening by an experienced prosecutor, a recommendation based upon risk factors, and an opportunity to make alternative to incarceration recommendations suchas treatment, drug or mental health courts, or deferred prosecution.

I am writing in regards to training for David Kennedy's Drug Market Intervention training for my city. I am a Councilmember for the city of Anniston (David E. Reddick) and I would like to bring the District Attorney for Calhoun County (Brian McVaigh) a community organizer (Vince Williams) and my new drug taskforce head (Allen George). I am interested in this small group attending training so that it can be implemented in the City of Anniston

The Camden County Police Department is requesting assistance to enhance access to probation data. In order to do this, the New Jersey Courts needs assistance in determining how to best extract the data and to receive a demonstration on how a web enabled system can not only help Camden County access their public data, but every county in New Jersey as well.

BJA will commission a White Paper on risk assessment use in state and local sentencing decision making. The final report will be a critical tool to expand BJA's knowledge of how risk information is used, and may impact future BJA funding priorities and strategies.

BJA will identify a provider to facilitate JRI peer-to-peer technical assistance events. Similar events were held in February 2015 to share ideas, resources, and tools from sites involved in JRI efforts. This TA will expand those events to more sites involved in JRI activity.

The Oregon CJC is seeking training and technical assistance from a multi-disciplinary team to perform 3 tasks: 1) Develop an implementation plan for Lane and Klamath Counties; 2) advise on performance and outcome measures for counties implementing the Marion County program, 3) work with CJC to document the implementation process and prepare resources for other counties to replicate the process.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking technical assistance in creating and designing an investigative database for the Wayne County Sexual Assault Kit Task Force (WCSAKTF). The grant would provide for an expert in data analysis and database management to aid in the merging of several existing databases created and maintained by law enforcement, prosecutors, and lab personnel.
