On October 7, 2019 IACP, Maria Anderson (OVC), Alissa Huntoon (BJA), Ivette Estrada (BJA) and Adam Kavanaugh (St. Louis HTTF) held a call to discuss if their case management person should have the ability to reach out to trafficking victims that have moved out of the area.

CSG Justice Center TA providers facilitated a conference call for all FY17 JMHCP Category 1 grantees as a peer learning opportunity for common goals and projects. Six counties participated: Alachua County, FL; Hancock County, OH; Hinds County, MS; Lubbock County, TX; Scottsbluff County, NE; and Union County, OH. The topics covered during the call were: (1) How to define recidivism for the purposes of this grant; (2) data sharing agreements; and (3) establishing a data focused subcommittee.

Palm Beach County provided a walkthrough of their data management system that they use for reporting human trafficking incidences. The walkthrough was presented to IACP, BJA, OVC and OVC TTAC staff members.

The Tucson CBCR project team members and community partners held a video conference with LISC Senior Program Officer Matt Perkins to introduce and discuss CPTED concepts as part of their CBCR effort. The meeting included a presentation by Tucson CBCR staff, on which Matt was asked to provide significant feedback regarding CPTED strategy, development and linkages to the business community.

As part of strategic planning training and technical assistance delivered by NCJA under the Strategic Planning TTA Project for the Kansas Governor's Grant Office (KGGO), the NCJA Project Manager participated by phone in a stakeholder meeting held on January 30, 2018. Other participants included Kansas JAG Program Manager and SAA staff, as well as representatives from courts, Division of Criminal Investigations, the Attorney General's Office, and victims services within the Department of Corrections.

As required by the grant, the National Governors Association leads monthly conference with criminal justice policy advisors (CJPAs) on policy challenges, emerging state issues, and best practices. Calls have taken place the 4th Thursday of every month beginning in July, 2016 and average 10 – 25 callers on each call.

On November 30th, C.N.A. corporation asked LUM to provide a webinar on evidence-based policing to individuals involved in the implementation of the 21st century task force report funded by the USDOJ COPS office.
