Through this reporting period, the task force liaisons conducted monthly calls with their assigned task forces to receive updates from the task force and provide TTA based upon their updates. Following each call, liaisons complete a survey providing updates on the task force. These surveys are then compiled into a report (which is entered on the reporting portal as a separate deliverable entry). Monthly calls are also held with IACP and the ECM Task Force Liaisons to provide updates, go over any major questions, and check-in on the status of their task forces.

This is the third part of a series of training modules within the NCJA Leadership Academy and is focused on Civil Rights, Ethics, Race and Criminal Justice Reform. The series began with a webinar in May by Ashley McSwain on personnel and civil rights law. That was followed by the in-person session in July on awareness and racial equity issues. Participants left that session with specific goals they intended to work on.
