Vera associate directors, D4D site leads and the data collection team hosted a meeting with Department of Corrections leadership to provide an overview of the project coordinator and data coordinator roles (DOC staff), share key stages and timelines for the project, and highlight the key activities of the upcoming months including rapport building with executive leadership and wardens, town hall planning and execution, and work group development.
Vera D4D staff met with the DOC representatives to discuss the status of and questions about the memorandum of understanding.
Vera hosted a meeting with DOC leadership to share decision of state selection for participation in the Designed for Dignity project.
The US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio requested crime analysis assistance for the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office in creating automated reports and dashboards. The kick-off call was held in September. SMEs are currently waiting for the site to provide data access.
During the 2024 Second Chance Act Conference in Philadelphia (which took place December 16-18, 2024) the TA Center met with 27 grantees at separate meetings and had contact with 85 grantees in Workshops and Sessions.

White Earth is a FY24 CTAS PA 3 grantee. TTA Coach/Wellness Court Legal Specialist Jacob Metoxen set up an introductory call with Lori Thompson, Court Administrator for the White Earth Tribal Court. Local manuals from the courts White Earth is involved in with the state were shared. Wellness Court Specialist Angie Juárez-Monger will meet in-person with Gabriela Hanebuth and Jennifer Stangel who are on the HWC team at the New Grantee Conference in January 2025. Communication will continue next reporting period.
