This webinar will provide an overview of ML in healthcare epidemiology and practical examples of ML tools used to support healthcare decision making at the four stages of hospital-based care: triage, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge. Examples include model-building efforts to assist emergency department triage, predicting time before septic shock onset, detecting community-acquired pneumonia, and classifying COVID-19 disposition risk level.
Finalized the MSP vision and rationale for change statements. Continued efforts on the MSP wellness questionnaire, and created materials for MSP wellness work group meeting 4.

The second of the biannual RxCheck Governance Board meetings was held in Kansas City, MO (in-person and virtual) on September 24-25, 2024. Twenty-nine of the 37 member PDMPs were represented. The agenda topics at the meeting included:

PDMP TTAC hosted and facilitated the Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) 2024 National Meeting took place on August 13-15, 2024 in Washington, D.C. Themed “PDMPs: Collaborating to Address the Prescription Drug Crisis,” the meeting was a resounding success. The conference offered valuable insights and fostered collaboration among the attendees, which included experts, policymakers, and stakeholders and with representation from 30 of the 54 PDMPs.
