The Charleston, SC SPI is requesting a peer exchange to Ft. Myers Police to discuss its efforts in implementing and electronically tracking its problem-oriented policing efforts. The CPD will directly benefit from being on-site and seeing the Fort Myers Police Department’s operation, including its data analysis infrastructure, and being able to ask questions of the key players who engaged in similar efforts. The lessons learned from this interaction will inform the CPD’s development, training, implementation, tracking, and ongoing sustainability of its problem-oriented policing project.
