Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support.
CSG Justice Center presented presented at the National District Attorney's Association. Because of the size of the audience the presentation was delivered as a roundtable discussion.
Objective 9: Provide structured, ongoing support up to 15 Category 1 grantee states and support the field. (IG States/ Vendor and Automation)?
CSG Justice Center staff worked together internally to plan out work streams across multiple Implementation Grant states who are all working on adding large data sets into Publisher in the next few months. ?
Objective 1: Use the hub and spoke model to engage all necessary and appropriate subject matter expertise to support Justice Counts design and implementation.?? (Partners)?
CSG Justice Center staff connected with the National Center for State Courts to provide project updates and discuss potential new workstreams.?CSG Justice Center staff also met with the Levin Center for Oversight and Democracy to discuss join work on engaging and educating legislators.
Objective 2: Continuously review the metrics, technology, solution for states, and related resources and refine as needed.?? (Tier 1 Metrics and TIGs/ Publisher Updates)?
There was no work towards this objective in July as CSG Justice Center staff were focused on the development of Tier 2 metrics, which is reported under the FY19 Justice Counts Implementation grant (2019-ZB-K005).?

There is no activity to report toward this objective specifically, though work listed under other objectives also advances the goals of promoting Justice Counts.
Objective 7: Facilitate the adoption and implementation of Justice Counts in additional states. (Light Touch States)?
In Michigan, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, who opted in, and met with a State Representative who wants to be a Justice Counts champion in Michigan.
In Rhode Island, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Department of Corrections to discuss metrics work, as staff have previously been involved in metrics development.

In July, CSG Justice Center staff presented at the CSG Midwest Legislative Conference on Justice Counts?and also met with the?National Institute of Corrections (NIC) to introduce the project and discuss ways that NIC can promote Justice Counts.?

In California, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Yolo County District Attorney to prepare for an upcoming conference presentation.?
In Arkansas, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Arkansas Criminal Detention Facilities Review Committee to discuss an upcoming presentation.
In Michigan, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Ingham County Jail to introduce the project and discuss onboarding.
