We are requesting a Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) Mapping Workshop for Craighead County. We are familiar with SIM, we had one conducted in 2016 which was at the beginning of creating a Mental Health Court, before the development of the Veteran’s Treatment Court, and before the development of CIT training locally and the CSU. We would like to utilize the SIM process to identify critical gaps in our organization(s) so those can be evaluated further by our stakeholders with contingency plans identified.

Officer Chuck Junge holds a Certification as a Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) through the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS). This certification is very important in performing forensic computer responsibilities and testifying in court to processes used and information extracted when examining forensic evidence. IACIS requires renewal of this certification every three years. There are several requirements that must be completed prior to applying for CFCE recertification.

CompStat360 is a comprehensive approach using collaboration, data analysis, and intel to create more effective crime responses. Scope of Study:
As fairness and equity must exist throughout a prosecutor’s office, we are requesting a holistic review that will examine the office’s organizational structure, culture, and context by analyzing data, conducting interviews, and observing prosecutorial practices. A study that will create a foundation from which to make recommendations about needed changes in procedure, training, and policies.

I am requesting assistance attending the California Homicide Investigators Association training conference in Las Vegas occurring 8/23-8/26/2022. I am requesting assistance in paying for the conference, air travel, and hotel accommodations. The conference fee is $399. Estimated cost for round trip air travel would be $250. Estimated cost of hotel accommodations would be $1,700.
