LAPD requested assistance from BJA NTTAC to assist the officers assigned to the Innovation & Strategic Planning Division with establishing goals and set the vision for innovation and strategic planning for the department. Markus Baer was selected to fulfill the request and provide innovation training to LAPD on January 14 -15, 2019 in La Angeles, California. This request was postponed due to scheduling conflicts and will be revisited at a later date.

BJA NTTAC supported two travelers from Baltimore PD and two travelers from Houston PD to attend the LAPD Crimefighters Conference on February 6 - 7, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.
