Requesting a study of Philadelphia's indigent defense delivery system. To date, Philadelphia has never conducted a comprehensive, professional study to determine which type of conflict counsel indigent defense delivery system best meets the needs of the City’s criminal, delinquency and dependency court systems. It is prudent for the policymakers of Philadelphia to decide for themselves the appropriate model for delivering conflict services, rather than having something imposed on it through costly litigation.

DOCCS is requesting technical support to help create and implement a unique recidivism reduction effort. This new model will reshape the way that community supervision is being conducted in the state of New York. Significant agency resources will be used to implement the model as a pilot in three geographically diverse locations throughout New York.

The Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (LPSCC) is spearheading Multnomah County's collaborative response to the State of Oregon's Justice Reinvestment efforts set forth in HB 3194. The goal of the State effort is to reduce prison use, reduce recidivism, increase public safety, return cost savings to Locals, and redeploy savings at the State level. Multnomah County (MC) is the largest population center in the State of Oregon.

Advocates for Human Potential aims to expand the distance learning that is provided to their partners in regard to RSAT training. They would like to film three host site locations over a two-day training to be able to produce a virtual training for partners unable to travel to site trainings. The Durham Police are the recipients of a CHP grant that will allow a focus upon Problem Oriented Policing and off-campus student housing. Durham is the host community for the University of New Hampshire and its 14,000 students. With 5,600 on-campus beds there are significant rental properties throughout the community. Many are in appropriate locations while others are mixed with residential family homes where the lifestyle of students and families often conflicts creating significant calls for service.

Morristown Police Department and Morris Township Bureau of Police are seeking training and technical assistance to establish a crime analysis program that will involve and leverage information from both police agencies. They seek an assessment of their technology infrastructure, data sources, and personnel resources to support this effort. They seek guidance to develop a step-by-step plan to establish a working crime analysis program within six months.

In an effort to reduce crime and promote community safety the Camden County's Police Department (CCPD) wants to implement evidence-based reforms through successful strategies, programs, and policies while undergoing significant organizational changes to their agency. More specifically, CCPD is requesting an assessment of evidence-based strategies that may be feasible, applicable and practical to their organization and crime issues.

The mass transit system suffers from nearly one cell phone theft or robbery per day. I would like to have assistance in developing efficient and effective methods to track incidents and predict future events/offenders.

We are requesting training and team building in the Project HOPE Model, from Jude Alm (the creator of the program model in Hawaii) and the speical team from Pepperdine University. We are implementing Project HOPE in the Worcester Courthouse and this training is essential to the effective implementation of this evidence based model. This is a unique opportunity to have the nation's leading experts conduct the training.

The Lee County Probation Department is in need of implementing evidence based practices. Currently, we have a little over 2,800 active probationers and are not able to effectively classify these probationers by risk and or needs. At this time, most of the decision making is driven by charge.
