On March 2nd, Vera TA coach Kayla James conducted a check-in call with Nevada DOC. The discussion included project updates.

TX ARES Phone Call

On February 2, Vera had the third of four transition meetings with AIR. The AIR team discussed in detail the status of each grantee in the ARES and Career Tech tracks, including the success and challenges they are currently facing with implementing their programs.

On January 21, Vera had the second of four transition meetings with AIR to discuss the transition of the ARES and Career Tech grantees to Vera. AIR covered how many grantees would be transitioned to Vera, gave an overview of the two tracks of grantees, discussed TA activities AIR conducted in 2020, set plans to share important documents and other information, and discussed other elements of the warm hand-off of TA to Vera.

On November 16, Vera joined an FY 2020 SCA TTA Transition Planning Call with BJA representatives, Council of State Governments (CSG), and American Institutes for Research (AIR). The discussion centered on plans to transition technical assistance for the previous provider, AIR, to Vera and CSG.
