The presentation is described as, "In today's world, social media dominates the way people communicate and it's where criminals exploit users. In many instances, evidence has been lost from online platforms such as Snapchat, Kik, and Facebook during an investigation because the evidence wasn't preserved.

In 2023, SWGDE began creating a standard for Quality Management of Digital Forensic Labs.

The panel familiarized the audience with a broad set of optics and issues related to AI both in terms of criminal use, evidence, and implementation for law enforcement and varied considerations.
