The Socorro, Texas Police Department requested training related to intelligence gathering methods for first responders, crime analysis, anti-terrorism, and infrastructure protection. The request was referred to the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR), who will be the primary TTA provider for hosting 4 regional SLATT trainings in late 2018, including one session in the DFW metro area of Texas.

PowerNet of Tampa requested Technical Assistance in coordinating a re-entry round table meeting. BJA NTTAC did not fulfill this request.

The Nevada Highway Patrol requested 50 Blue Courage: Heart and Mind of the Guardian participant kits. Blue Courage, Inc. was selected to fulfill the request and shipped 50 participant kits to the Nevada Highway Patrol in August 2017.

The Supreme Court of Ohio requested support in hosting a meeting for the Regional Judicial Opioid Initiative. The request was denied and not fulfilled by BJA NTTAC.

The Maryland Office of the Public Defender requested technical assistance to improve upon its existing strategic plan. In 2011 the Office received support from BJA NTTAC, with Indiggo Associates providing technical assistance in establishing an agency mission/vision, core values, and a strategic plan. In the six years that have elapsed since the initial support, there has been significant turnover in personnel, as well as a number of leadership changes, so the Office was looking to revisit its strategic plan.
