The auditor feedback form is comprised of complaints submitted to the National PREA Resource Center (PRC) from various sources of information pertaining to PREA audits, i.e., victim advocates, corrections staff, PREA Coordinators etc. These complaints are reviewed regularly by the PRC, and BJA. Certain complaints are referred to PREA Management Office (PMO) for a more in depth review depending upon the nature of the complaint. The Council of Juvenile Justice Administrators (CJJA) is made up of executive staff leaders of most of the individual states in the US and territories. A PREA Committee meets bi-monthly and is attended by some executive leaders and primarily by state-level Juvenile PREA Coordinators for each state's juvenile justice agency. The National PREA Resource Center (PRC) arranges for speakers and presentations at these meetings based on content requests from the members.

The NCJA Center for Justice Planning and Data Center, in collaboration with Connecticut’s SAA Office (OPM) and their Statistical Analysis Center, is spearheading the development of the state’s 2026 strategic plan. This initiative includes a robust statewide survey designed to engage public safety and community-based organizations, including law enforcement, rural organizations, victim services, and violence prevention programs.

Ms. Kristine Hamann from the NRTAC team has been invited to participate in a meeting hosted by the Connecticut Office of the State Attorney General. The meeting will be attended by prosecutors throughout the State of Connecticut. The purpose of Ms. Hamann’s participation in the meeting is to highlight the role prosecutors must assume to appropriately support the various BJA-funded CGICs in Connecticut. Additionally, Ms. Hamann will discuss the prosecutor training curriculum developed by the NRTAC and help coordinate its delivery to prosecutors in the State of Connecticut.

FC125 Technology-Facilitated Elder Fraud

This course is designed specifically for law enforcement officers and investigators, providing the tools and knowledge needed to combat the growing threat of technology facilitated scams targeting older adults. Participants will learn to identify and investigate various digital fraud tactics, from tech support scams to government imposter fraud, and artificial intelligence schemes. The course covers the latest technology and platforms used by criminals, as well as effective techniques for tracing, reporting, and prosecuting these crimes while approaching victims with care. By the end, law enforcement professionals will be better equipped to protect vulnerable seniors and disrupt digital fraud networks in their communities.
